Ok, so I know that a lot of people won’t like my choice in dress. I have been told it looks like a mullet, which is hilarious and may be true. However, It is in my price range and I think it looks cute. I have a dress for the ceremony that looks different, but I feel dancing in that one would be impossible, thus the mullet. Also, I know a lot of people hate the idea of Converse for a wedding. I have noted that as well. I am just wondering if they will look awful or awesome together. 🙂 Anyone else doing weird dress and shoe pairings?

NMS, but who cares? If you feel good in it, rock it!

Ditto to PP – I wouldn’t wear it, but it’s your wedding and who cares what anyone thinks! You’ll have fun, and that’s what matters 🙂 Plus, receptions are the time to let loose!

Love the dress and, actually, the shoes it’s paired with in the picture. Hate the converse. But do whatever makes you happy.

Unless Converse are your everyday style they do not show personality but lack of a personality. I would look into something different. I personally don’t like them for weddings. Everyone has an opinion unfortunately.

If there’s one day in a girl’s llife when she could wear dressy shoes, it’s her wedding. I think Converse look awful with a wedding dress.

As a newlywed I recommend comfortable shoes with cushion and arch support for the reception. My feet were killing me by the end of my wedding and I did have reception shoes that met those criteria. For me converse don’t have enough arch support, but if they work for you feet, go for it.
