I need your help! The restaurant that we’re having our banquet at closed down. My wedding is 3 months away! I’m hoping to have the reception/banquet in the San Gabriel Valley, as that is where the ceremony will be taking place. I just got this news from my mom (I live in SF), so I am trying really hard not to FREAK OUT.
Thanks in advance for any help….

Oh right, the voice of reason. Ok then! We are planning on having around 200 guests….our last spot was charging us ~$10K (this was a multicourse Chinese banquet), this is w/o booze which we are supplying ourselves. I know breaking down the costs, this comes out to be pretty dang cheap (we were quite excited about that). As for the feel of the event, most of the folks attending will be Asian people expecting to be fed well, or at least that’s how I’ve come to see it after attending my fair share of Chinese banquets. So it might be that we could have it at another restaurant? Or a location that allows Chinese food to be catered? I’m being pretty open at this point 🙂
