We got our first wedding gift today! It was really fun to open the door this afternoon and find a little package on the doorstep 🙂 hehe
Ok, now that that is out of my system…lol…reception timelines!…what order are you doing everything?
Our ceremony doesn’t start until 7:30pm, so I am wondering if people will want to eat right after the bridal party is introduced at the reception, or if it would be ok to have everyone introduced, have our first dance and then have the food served.
I like the idea of going straight from the bridal party introductions into the first dance…but I don’t want my guests to starve! lol! But, then again, the ceremony doesn’t start until 7:30, so won’t everyone have had a little something to eat before they come?
I’m thinking of doing…
*Bridal party intro’s
*Serve dinner (make the rounds, as we are not doing a recieving line)
*As dinner is wrapping up, cut the cake and have the toasts
*While people are having cake…do the father/daughter and son/mother dances
And then have everyone go dance and party it up!
What do you think? How did you do it?
