sunflowersforever:  Most weddings I go to at dinnertime last at least 4 hours.  So long as you have music until 9pm, I would expect a good percentage of guests to stick around.  With 300 guests dinner should take at least an hour or two depending on if it’s plated or buffet.  Calm down, there is no need to provide additional entertainment for the 4 hours.

00p – ceremony

00p – start cocktail hour

00p – announcement and first dance and father/daughter & mother/son dance

30p – start dinner

00p – cut the cake and start dancing
