i think chicken or vegetarian is a fine choice. your guests don’t need more options than that.
Seriously, who doesn’t like chicken, except for vegetarians? You’ve got all your bases covered right there :).
@jo.lee: Actually I dont like chicken! I am now a vegetarian (only for about 3 wks now) but even before I started eating vegetarian I never ate chicken. Though I think Im in the minority!!
I think you should do chicken and fish – do you really have that many vegetarians that you would need an entire dish for it? If you just have a few vegetarians in your guest list then you should see if you could do chicken and fish and then just have the venue make enough vegetarian dishes for the vegetarians attending.
In my experience.. hardly anyone chooses the fish anyways. I mean, who doesn’t like chicken? I say save the $400!
@PitBulLover: I disagree – you say you don’t like chicken. But you’re a vegetarian. So that’s understandable. I don’t know that many people who dislike chicken. And if they do – they can have the vegetarian option. I know MANY people who don’t like fish. And doing the chicken and fish meal doesn’t save her money, she only saves $$$ if she does chicken and vegetarian or fish and vegetarian. So I think the safest bet is chicken + vegetarian. There will be something for everyone.
