We are stumped. We have chosen our processional music, but need a recessional. We are all out of ideas (well, actually, I have a GREAT idea but Fiance hates it so that went down the toilet…).
We would like:
1. Something NON-RELIGIOUS
2. Something MODERN (Post-2000)
3. Something with LYRICS
4. Something UPBEAT
What did you use? Any bees have great suggestions?

@Spideykiss: What is your processional music? To get a sense of your taste in music.
We are liking doing Overwhlemed–Tim McMorris.

We did “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen and our guests loved it (of course we did too).
almost everyone knows this song– originally, Elvis did it, but Queen made it huge, and it’s been in a couple of commercials but not to the point where it’s tired. The lyrics are more about a fella who’s getting ready to let himself fall in love so it’s not entirely a wedding song, but since it’s such a familiar song, no one really analyzes the lyrics anyway. It’s from way before 2000 but is such a well-known song that it might be worth a listen.

We are doing the Beatles All You Need is Love. I’m a big Love Actually movie fan and we just had to.

We had this version of Queen’s You’re my best friend. It really stands out as the song of the wedding.

This isn’t modern, but we did Sam & Dave’s “Hold On I’m Coming.” Upbeat, fun, and good lyrics!

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. We like Queen and The Beatles but were thinking something a bit more recent?
Our processional is going to be an instrumental by The Verve.
