I know this is old,  but I wanted to add that since I switched 100% to full fat dairy and I started consuming more fat (not excessive amounts, but I’ll eat butter if I feel like it, any kind of cheese or meat NO low fat products whatsoever, etc) my cravings for sugar and flour have diminished heavily and I lost over 10 pounds (went from 127 to 114) without even trying.

iarebridezilla:  i always use brown sugar. in everything! and brown flour!! 100% whole wheat. ive really gotten used to it and make cakes, bread and the whole thing. even in my coffee. also cottage cheese for sour cream on tacos. or anything of that nature. greek yogurt for cream cheese in cheese cake. i just made venison meatball with oatmeal instead of bread. tastes wonderfull!! i wasnt sure how it would work out but it was amazing. cauliflower mashed is great! also like to make sweet potatoes instead of potatoes. i like brown rice too. its some times hard to take down so ill cheap and put a cube of chicken broth in it. ;-P also never never eat iceburg lettuce … its literally crap. i also use olive oil instead of vegtable for sure!! just started with the cocunut oil. my in laws fryed a little salmon in it and it was amazing!! cant think of anything else right now
