I use MAC Studio fix. It is like a foundation/powder and it covers awesomely. I don’t feel like my face it quite as oliy when I wear it.
I tried several different foundations before falling in love with Prescriptives Virtual Skin. It’s weightless with just the right amount of coverage for a very natural look. I wore it over Smashbox’s Photo Finish primer.
Here are some photos of how my primer + foundation turned out.
Note: Both the primer and foundation have SPF, but it still photographed beautifully. I got married in the Caribbean and the makeup lasted in the heat.
i love the smashbox primer as well. armani makes great foundations. for everyday, i use a mineral foundation by philosophy. mineral foundation has to be applied to a well-moisturized face (before the moisturizer sinks in), though, otherwise it looks cakey and dry. and i’ve just discovered a spray on foundation by skII which looks airbrushed.
ive tried everything thats out there. i started using foudation after i got into a car accident a while back to cover up some of the pink from the airbag. i mean ive tried EVERYTHING and looked everywhere bc most foudations are so drying, you can totally tell that you have it on. of course i wanted something that looked like i had nothing on. the only one that i found is a gel based foundation by chantecaile
shu uemura UV Under Base SPF 10 is awesome and very light!! it’s a foam, and it lasts! I used it when I did my friend’s makeup for her wedding.
it sells at nordstrom for about $32.
Wow, really? No SPF for better pictures? Interesting. Thanks for the tip!
