We recently booked with Make My Day Videography. They are giving us a good deal at $800. The two guys that run it are really nice and I have been reccomending them to friends!
Their email is [email protected].
Good luck!
i’m bumping this up!!! Need more responses ladies!
Thanks azoclara, I emailed them already
Have you checked the vendor reviews at projectwedding.com? Otherwise take a look at a local art school or community college and see if one of their senior students is willing to take on the job to expand their portfolio.
Have u heard of ABCI Weddings. They do travel to various places and their work is awesome. http://www.abci.biz/home.html
i loved red5studios.net! 🙂
also love elysium and daniel boswell.
oops! didn’t see your price range. but perhaps some of the videos can give you inspiration!
Try Dirk at Studio West Video. He was our videographer, and he did a beautiful job and was very reasonably priced (esp. given the ridiculous prices charged in LA). Tell him I say hi!
Here’s my review of Dirk’s work: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/12/22/vendor-preview-studio-west-video/
And our highlights video: http://doublyhappytoo.blogspot.com/2009/04/preview-of-our-chewish-wedding.html
Our wedding is coming up, so we haven’t exactly experienced how great they are but we spoke to many people and were on a tight budget, and these people seem to know what they are doing and are reasonably priced. It’s called “Habrock Video.”
This is his phone number, 213-718 2003.
Does anyone know if the videographers in the $1000 range do editing for a video highlight with music or is it just raw footage?
I went with Nathan Prince of Prince Productions (based in Orange County):
I don’t have my final video yet, but I was very impressed with the samples he showed me and how well he worked with my photographer on the day of! His base package is about 1400 for a fully edited video, but he does do raw footage only packages for around 700 or so. We were originally going to save money and go with raw footage only, but we loved his editing style so much we sprung for the package. 🙂
Good luck!
Check out AmericanaCinema.com . Their videos are truly unique, looks like you’re in your own movie or music video starring you and your Fiance. The quality of their videos are excellent. I booked them for our May wedding. The main guy, Gilbert will definitely work with you on your budget. Hope this helps.
Has anyone ever worked with Cloud 9 Videography or White Rose Productions? They’re a bit pricier – the edited package was about 1700-1800 but they look awesome.
