Hi, our hotel is providing the photographer and videographer in Bali but have a look at a site on facebook called Little Miss Bali – she is always recommending people and businesses including photographers and viedographers so maybe ask her on her site 🙂

By The Way where are you having your wedding in Bali? 🙂

Try searching the WPJA and Fearless Photographers blogs – there are lots of great photographers out there!

Fearless lets you put out a request and photographers will let you know if they are available on your day, and are willing to travel to your location.

I went to a wedding in Bali and they had the photographer flown in. I think that’s really the only way to ensure decent photos in the style you want unless you have a very very high end resort, and if that’s the case you prob. can afford to fly someone. Where are you having it? I had one of the best massages of my life there. Congrats and Good luck!

We are flying in our own.  Only cost an airfare, 1 night accomodation and his dinner.  Cheaper than what the hotel was going to charge us we saved about $400 by doing this.  We made an arrangement for all the photos on a disk all up $503.

I’m getting married in Bali next week and we are using Veli Photography. We thought about flying in photographer, but considering the added cost, we thought it’s not worth it and rather spend more on a local photographer. Veli has a more natural and modern style. But if you like more artsy or vintage style, I would also recommend Why Imaging. If you are planning to splurge on photography, Axioo is the best you can get in Indonesia (they have photographer based in Bali). For videographer, Point One Design is the best on the island.

Some couples fly in photographers and videographers from Malaysia to Bali.

A pretty good photographer: Jon Low (not cheap although cheaper than a good photographer in the US). Other well-known ones: Grant Corban, Grace (Stories.my) and some girl who specialises in vintage style wedding pictures (can’t remember her name atm!)

A great videographer (his videos always make me cry!): Wedding Story
