Oh I’m curious for the answers too!  Mine is coming up soon and I have no idea what to expect!

Hmmmm okay. Tips… I literally brought a suitcase of clothing options and shoes along with a few props. I brought the shoes I wore the first time I met DH (his first words to me were “Nice shoes”), and a cupcake from the shop our cupcakes were coming from for the wedding. I liked having a few “insider” sort of accessories like that. I also bought a really cheap veil from a consignment shop which looked beauitful in the photos.

I shot outside in a farmer’s field since I was too cheap to spring for a hotel room. It was a bit weird being outside in my underwear at first, but then I just started thinking about it like wearing a bikini 😉 My photographer was really great too, she was really  fun and supportive, so it was more like being with a girlfriend than some random stranger. She also had me start in an outfit of a skirt, button down shirt, bra, heels, and then we slowly sort of worked our way up to just bra/panties. I kept a robe with me as well so that when I was traipsing back and forth to the car for wardrobe changes I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable.

Hair and make-up wise, I did my boudoir shoot on the same day as my trials for the wedding, so that was all taken care of at no extra cost! My hair dresser put HUGE loose curls in so I had big sexy hair. I like that my make up was pretty natural, not over the top. I didn’t want to look at the photos later and think “Wow, I look like a hooch!” or whatever, LOL! Plus I think DH really liked that the photos reflected me how I am, not this uber version of me.

Here’s a link to my photographer blog posting, and a previous thread I posted about my boudoirs.
