Venezia is a pretty popular spot, I’ve eaten dinner there and it’s fantastic. If your open to other sections of Boston, Townsends in Hyde Park is great for intimate weddings. The food selections are great and they are willing to work with you to create custom menus. My sister used them for her rehearsal dinner. They have an outdoor area, but I’ve never seen it. The upstairs is private.

The Ledge in Dorchester has an awesome patio area, I’m not sure if they do private parties there, btu it’s worth checking out! 🙂

Cafe 47 on Commonwealth Ave. by Marlborough street is perfect for a small reception!  The whole restaurant fits about 30-40 people, and they are willing to close down for a private party -with no room fee!  The ambiance is relxing and the food is amazing.  Here’s their website: http://www.cafe47.net/

I hope you find something that works!

Try the Barbara Lynch Gruppo restaurants (No. 9 Park, Menton, etc).

North end might be tight for parking. There are some beautiful restaurants in Cambridge. My favorite is Oleana. It would be helpful to know what kind of food you love because with a small wedding guest list you have so many options ranging from italian to contemporary american to all sorts of fusion as well.

Oleana is great.  My current favorite special occasion restaurants are Journeyman and Bergamot in Somerville, and Craigie on Main in Cambridge. All three have AMAZING food.

Cragie on the Main is really good!  I also like Rendevous in Cambridge.  If you’re up for good food and great service try Mooo… in Boston.  They do small gatherings, and have GREAT cocktails!  We had our engagement dinner there!  Let is know that you decide on…
