CBD is in no way shape or form a replacement for prescription medication.

@anonbee123123:  Im from Canada so different brands but I’d definitely start off with CBD gummies at a low dose. Or even gel caps maybe.

So, from my experience CBD more just ‘takes the edge off’ rather than treats full blown anxiety. When my anxiety is bad, I have to take pretty high doses to get much benefit and it gets expensive. CBD with zero THC also tends to have less effect (the THC activates the CBD more).

That said I find the oils work best, followed by gummies (which are bit cheaper).

I use the GRON gummies for anxiety. Half a gummy works well for me.

Also, CBD sodas can work really well. I’ll drink 1/4 to 1/2 and that helps a lot. Some brands are pretty unimpactful though.

Wylde also makes good edible cbd thc blends, but that’s more for fun and less for anxiety.

Best of luck! I would go ask at a local dispensary. Tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll usually be able to help.

Brown Girl Jane. Amazing products! It has really helped me with anxiety and some pain. I love that they undergo rigorous testing to ensure it is high quality. https://www.browngirljane.com/

@anonbee123123:  In Washington state there has to be trace amounts of THC sold in a CBD product unfortunately. The ratio can however be as low as 10:1.  So, you wont feel the THC effects. There are a ton of shops in Washington to go and check out. Everyone is super helpful. Just go in saying what you said to us and they will more then help you out.  Most places will take the product back if your not happy with it, just keep the receipt. There are lots of edibles you can take especially if you don’t want the smoke effect. One specifically is called essence and that the 10:1 ratio.  It comes in 5mg tablets. No additives or anything. It doesn’t really matter where in Washington you are you can find them.  I would try those first. Oils are also nice.  A couple drops under the tongue. If you private message me I can talk to you more about it if you like as I’m also in Washington.

It’s hard to say for sure about it being accurate.  Maybe the rules are different for cbd vs cannabis shops? I can also say that if your not used to taking them you may feel tired at first.  Your body will soon adjust and that shouldn’t happen.  Good luck!
