Good for you for recommiting yourself!  I recommited myself in December and it wasn’t terribly hard to get back to my “wedding weight.”  Now it’s just those last 15lbs to go….   The things that have helped me to be successful are being able to track on my phone as well as downloading the WW scanner app (you can scan barcodes with it!) and an app called Dotti that gives WW points for a lot of common restaurants.  There is a website that is free for the Dotti site.  It’s dwlz.com.  I also have made a lot of recipes from the blog http://www.skinnytaste.com  She has all the points plus values for the different recipes on her site and I’ve yet to make something I didn’t love.

As far as committing to exercise, I started with a C25K app to start running.  It takes you from no endurance to being able to run a 5K in 8 weeks.  I liked it so much (it’s amazing to go from feeling like running for 90 seconds will kill you to running for 30 mins 8-9 weeks later without stopping!) that I started a 10K training through the Personal Running Trainer app and ran my first 5K on Saturday.  I think the main thing with exercise is to find something you don’t mind doing.  When I was on WW before, I always thought when I went to the gym I had to KILL myself so I’d be dead tired and never really wanted to go back.  This time I go with a plan.  I work up a major sweat, but I’m not so dead that I never want to return.  Some people at my WW meetings eat their exercise points and some choose to track them but not eat them.

Good luck with your return to WW.  It’s such an amazing program.  I love it and can’t wait to be at goal and become a “lifetime” member.  Also, I know for some people online is more convenient or less scary, but I will say I go to meetings every week and you really do learn lots of little tricks and feel inspired to have a good week.  If you can find the time, it’s very worthwhile.

Yeah, that’s hard when you have to pick between meeting and working out.  The online method works for a lot of people, I just had a hard time getting as into the boards there as I did with Weddingbee.  I’m pretty tech savy, but I didn’t really connect as much.  One of my favorite late night snacks is a chobani yogurt after its been in the freezer for a bit (mix it up first…lol).  Takes like frozen yogurt but still has lots of protein 🙂

Good for you!  I have been struggling the past 6 months since our wedding in September.  I have gained back 7 pounds, and my favorite jeans don’t fit.  : (

I have had a lot of success with WW in the past but stopped after a few months of just being STARVING all the time.  I am trying to just start tracking my calories on myfitnesspal.com since we are trying to save every last penny we have.

I think I had a similar problem with fruits and vegetables, I ate a lot of them!  I would try to focus on getting as much lean protein as possible, and also be sure to try new recipes frequently to add variety to your life!

@clane616:  Any recommendations for C25K apps? I’d like to give it a try!

I went through 2 months where I would recommit every Monday 🙁 I’ve had success with WW in the past, but just couldn’t seem to get with it this time.

Now that I’m less than 2 months till the day, I’ve gone a little drastic. I’ve cut out all grains and sugar. i’ve been eating nothing but eggs, meats and salad.. i’ve been doing it for 2 weeks and my carb cravings have disappeared. I haven’t been able to weigh myself, but I can tell I’ve lost 5-10 lbs already

@Chemistrybride I used the 5K runner app for my 5K and then Personal Running Trainer for the 10K app.  Neither was free, but they were both cheap and worth the price!
