I’m amazed that your hair dryer lasted so long. I just use a Revlon brand but you’ll probably get much better suggestions.

My 19 year old daughter has thick wavy hair and uses the bed head curls in check dryer and loves it. Keeps her waves so pretty and frizz free and dries pretty quick too! $35 bucks

I use a Conair Infiniti 1875 watt tourmaline ionic. I liked my first one so much that when it broke, I bought 2 more – haha I’ve been using the second one for almost 20 years!!  I have #3 safely in my closet. I have thick slightly wavy hair that’s a little past my shoulders. It took awhile for me to find a hairdryer that had different settings and blew forcefully..the Conair is IT. Hopefully the newer ones work as good if you decide to get one. Linked below is the closest one to my model. The only thing I don’t like is the sliding mechanism to change settings. If your fingers are wet it’s a little hard to move it.

I have long, thick, curly/wavy hair. For years I had an expensive blow dryer, but then through work ended up living in a hotel for a month that used this dryer: Andis 40055 1600-Watt High Performance ProStyle Hair Dryer, White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009XH6UU

I loved it so much I immediately bought it upon my return home. It was like 1/5 the price of my previous dryer, lightweight and dries my hair fast.

If you blow out your hair straight and don’t wear it curly, I got one of these a year ago and haven’t used my previous dryer since: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z5QSYDD

Good luck!

Your welcome. I have long hair, middle of my back, kinda thick coarse hair that’s naturally wavy so I depend on my dryer to straighten my hair so I don’t have to use a flat iron and this is the dryer I use. I got it at tjmaxx for 40 bucks and it really is a great dryer, it’s light weigh and quiet. I used two different Chi dryers and a t3 pro before and they all went out in a year so I wanted to go cheaper this time and hope for the best…and I’m glad I did!!! It really is comparable to my chi dryers but hopefully it’ll last longer lol GL  here’s a pic too, it’s so pretty and Amazon has different designs.

I love my Babyliss Pro. I’m on my third one in 10 years; I believe my first one died after about 5 years, but I use it every day. It quickly dries my waist-length, fine, thick hair, leaving no frizz or damage. I also have a Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium I travel with.
