Aquaria:  Oh man. Sorry. I think the other posters are correct. It is kind of like when you are editing a paper. You are looking too hard and thus you can’t find the rings. Stop looking for a little bit an then try again with fresh eyes. Good luck!!!

Aquaria:  Have you asked your husband if maybe he took them off while you were sleeping and put them some where?

check inside your pillow cases and the sheets you took off the bed again.  Also check in all the seams of your mattress – it’s amazing how tiny a space your rings can get into.

I lost my e-ring once… my heartbeat stopped…. and was like a crazy woman searching up and down in the house, in the car… no luck

super depressed and was waiting to deliever the horrible news to Fiance (now DH)…… just when I gone through my x’mas shopping and putting them away… I FOUND MY RING in one of the shopping bags

I think my e-ring just too loose and I was carried way too many bags at once…so I slide my ring to the bags.. Now I’m super caution whenever I carry stuff… especially paper bags…

If I were you, I’d take a shower. I do my best thinking and remembering in the shower. It gives you time away from the place you suspect you lost the ring. Did you check in the bathrooms? Medicine cabinets?

The odds of them being in the house are pretty good since you were only out for an hour yesterday. By the way, did you call the places you went to ask if anyone had turned in rings??

If they did drop on the floor, they will bounce away from the strike point so don’t just look under the bed…look at that whole area of the bedroom floor, including any floor vents. Sometimes they get caught between the mattress and box spring if your mattress has shifted any. Or you kick them down to the end of the bed. Unfortunately, there are so many possibilities but I’d really scour the bed area since that is where you found your RHR.

I’d completely take the mattress and box spring off the bed. Look I’m between them. Also sometimes the fabric will become loose in some spots on box prongs and things can fall inside so look inside there. Check bed rails too

I think you’ll find them. If you wear them all at the same time I bet  they’re in the bedroom somewhere. Have your hubby look and flip the matress when you get home. Maybe the got stuck in the bedframe somehow. Keep us posted!

MsBeer:  I have to ask, how were you locked IN the house? lol

Aquaria:  Do you have pets?  My cat stole my rings off my nightstand once…I found my e-ring under the bed, but could not find my band.  Went all day at work thinking I was gonna have to dig thru cat poop to find it.  Got home and Darling Husband found it…under the bed where I had already looked.

I would check the sink drains (use a magnet tied to a string) or the shower, you may have just sat them somewhere unusual and forgot.

Aquaria:  one time I lost my RHR while sleeping. I noticed it missing when I woke up in the morning.  It was one of the first big gifts Fiance had ever given me so I was panicking. I looked in all the places PPs have said about 100 times for hours that day, and still couldn’t find it. Finally I just went to bed and tried to relax. The next morning, Fiance found it under the bed, where we had looked a million times. 😑 so I agree with other PPs, when you’re freaked out, you tend to miss things, because you’re rushing. I’d try to calm down, retrace steps, and look slowly instead of tearing through things!

Darling Husband and I have a running joke that whenever we lose something, it’s always in one of my purses. (Usually a purse that I haven’t used in like… five months. It makes no sense.) Also, do you have any vents in the floor or baseboards? I’d pry those off and shine a flashlight around if you do.

Do you have any pets? Once my cats were playing with my rings and I found them in a totally different room…
