I have tiny tiny red dots all over my arms, back, forehead, chest and stomach!
They arent pimples, i am pretty sure. They are just red bumps! I thought maybe
its an allergic reaction BUT I cant figure out whats causing it!! Help!! I feel so
insecure and want my nice skin back!!

Did the climate recently change? Are you wearing a lot of synthetic fibers?

Do you have a dog? Cat? Might be fleas??
Any changes to what MISSKESSLER ask?

Are you using a new type of fabric detergent or softener? When I was little, my parents changed the softener we were using and I broke out in tiny hives. Now I’m too afraid to try a different detergent or softener than what I was using back then.

I do have a little cat, but she never goes outside, shes an inside kitty. I have made several changes in my life. my shampoo, soap, etc but all of these bumps have been there since BEFORE I purchased these things. its so embarassing! My scalp has felt really dry and itchy too 🙁

Dry skin where you are? Has it suddenly been REALLY cold? Try a humidifier.
Try benedryl, see if they go away. Might be hives…
I’d take a run to your primary care or dermotologist. They’ll ask the same questions about climate, clothing, lotions though.

You know, I’d call the doctor and see if you can’t get over there. Especially if it’s itching. you’ve got to be uncomfortable.

Sometimes you can be allergic to things you weren’t allergic to before! I’m not sure why it happens but I think sometimes it is stress? When I was in law school I started getting really bad red bumps on my sides, arms, back, etc. I couldn’t figure it out for the longest time until someone suggested laundry detergent. I hadn’t switched kinds or anything, but I tried an unscented one and BAM– no more bumps! weird eh?

its been very very cold here in sacramento, and we dont use a heater at home to save money so its always FREEZING! I should try benedryl. Im just really trying to stop from going to the doctor because our temporary insurance right now SUCKS and we just dont have the money…

I second the detergent… you could even develop an allergy to it. I developed a reaction to any detergents with dye/colors/etc and just tried a new dye-free one… doesn’t work, I get MAJOR itchy/bumpy whenever I put on the clothes out of the wash.

Run a humidifirer in your home. Maybe you need more moisture in the air. And exfoliate. In the shower use a loofah or something and scrub your whole body. Then use a lotion with no fragrance or anything to moisturize.
