Did the climate recently change?  Are you wearing a lot of synthetic fibers?

Are you using a new type of fabric detergent or softener?  When I was little, my parents changed the softener we were using and I broke out in tiny hives.  Now I’m too afraid to try a different detergent or softener than what I was using back then.

Dry skin where you are? Has it suddenly been REALLY cold?  Try a humidifier.

Try benedryl, see if they go away. Might be hives…

I’d take a run to your primary care or dermotologist. They’ll ask the same questions about climate, clothing, lotions though.

You know, I’d call the doctor and see if you can’t get over there.  Especially if it’s itching.  you’ve got to be uncomfortable.

Sometimes you can be allergic to things you weren’t allergic to before! I’m not sure why it happens but I think sometimes it is stress? When I was in law school I started getting really bad red bumps on my sides, arms, back, etc. I couldn’t figure it out for the longest time until someone suggested laundry detergent. I hadn’t switched kinds or anything, but I tried an unscented one and BAM– no more bumps! weird eh?

I second the detergent… you could even develop an allergy to it. I developed a reaction to any detergents with dye/colors/etc and just tried a new dye-free one… doesn’t work, I get MAJOR itchy/bumpy whenever I put on the clothes out of the wash.

Run a humidifirer in your home. Maybe you need more moisture in the air. And exfoliate. In the shower use a loofah or something and scrub your whole body. Then use a lotion with no fragrance or anything to moisturize.
