David’s bridal is not “off the rack” they have to order it.

I HIGHLY recommend checking your local dept stores formalwear sections. I found a couple great red dresses at Macy’s recently.

here is another nice one…write down all the styles you like and call the store closest to you to find out which are available off the rack. even though it says it’s available in stores, sometimes it’s not at ALL stores. I made this mistake recently and it cost me over an hour in driving!

My experience (when I was Maid/Matron of Honor in a wedding) with David’s is it took a couple months for my dress to come in, BUT they schedule based on wedding date, so you might be able to get it even faster. I bet you can if you talk to them about it first.

I ordered a DB bridesmaid dress online on a Monday morning, and it was waiting for me when I got home from school that Wednesday. I say check them out! They have a ton of styles in apple red.

Check out Dillard’s as well, I love a lot of their dresses (especially Antonio Milani)!

From a department store, I think you’re going to have a difficult time getting identical reds in three different styles (although maybe I’m wrong).  If David’s Bridal can get them in quickly enough, I’d say that is you best bet for that.  But if you don’t mind three slightly different shades of red, department stores could be a great option for you!

Don’t forget, department stores can get stuff shipped to you really fast so you don’t necessarily have to have a store location near you – just order the sizes you need online!

I would strongly suggest somewhere like amazon.com to help you narrow down some choices…here’s a cute one I found at Nordstrom’s (it comes in red)…

Davidsbridal.com has an online section with a number of dresses available in red. These ship right away and are returnable.
