Lots of cocoa butter lotion and aloe…keep it moisturized and it should tone down.

Ouch!  I would try and use a bunch of aloe to try and make it go away.  I am very pale too and usually after I burn it turns back to white.

I think you should try to even out the tan by using controlled (sun screen protected) exposure to the sun, gently, in your remaining areas (arms).  Also, Vitamin C is very good for helping your skin after sun exposure.  Look for a cream or a serum with Vitamin C.  Good Luck!  You have enough time that you will be ok!

It’ll tone down–i got FRIED in Mexico last week and my tan is ‘barely’ there now. Yes, i still have tan lines. I’m pretty sure a few hours out in the sun with lots of lotion would even it out, though.

You have PLENTY of time to work on it slowly.

If it is still there later on, you could always try the self tanning lotion.  That tends to get rid of tan lines.

I am super pale, and I know what it is like with a bad sunburn! I have used a cream called silvadene. You have to have your doctor give you a prescription for it. I would get it from your doctor ASAP, because the earlier the better. It helped take away the redness, and it prevented blistering.

I second RedVelvet’s suggestion.  Silvadene burn cream is excellent.  They use that on burn victims & my mom’s dr. gave it to her while she was going thru radiation.  If you can, get that.  Good luck!
