Another reason i love shane company is because they automatically include a lifetime warrenty with their great prices, other stores, like jared, make you pay an extra 175 bucks for a warrenty, and if you dont get it inspected every 6 months to the day, it is void. shane co are very lienient with their policies.

Are they charging to set the stone since it isn’t one of theirs?

My Fiance picked out a designer he loved and found that Shane Co. could get the ring and matching band.  I have had no problems with them.  My Fiance did purchase a diamond somewhere else and had Shane set it in the setting.  We did have to get the ring sized my Fiance was nervous because he read in a forum about getting the ring sized and having the diamond swapped out.  He’s paranoid but Shane Co employees were understanding that he wanted to find the code on the diamond himself.  And we were there a long time looking for it.  They’ve been friendly so far but I’ve only had the ring a year.

@Willow1991:Shane didn’t charge to set my stone even though it was from somewhere else.  But that was almost a year ago.

I am not sure if they let you watch them do it but I do know that they have you look at your diamond through the loop before and after so you know it is the same one.

the shane company that i go to is completely see through where they do the work so if you really wanna be obnoxious you could stand there and watch them, but i would feel really awkward doing that.

My fiance bought my ring from Shane Co and I love it! We went prior to him proposing just to look at rings.  They were one of the very few places that didn’t try and pressure us into buying something that day.  And of course, that’s where he ended up! My ring is white gold and fabulous! I can’t tell you enough how happy I am with the quality of the ring and their service!
