I know you’re out there! I’m an imposter redhead. I have natural dishwater blonde hair, so as a henna user, I have bright coppery auburn hair. It looks pretty natural, and people tend to assume its all mine, judging by the old ladies who comment/touch it. I am lightly freckled, “vampire white” and have very blue eyes. I’ve been mostly red since I was about 12, and I can’t really imagine being any different for my wedding!
So. Fellow red heads- (imposter or natural!) what color gown did you have or do you plan on wearing? How are you doing your makeup?
my best friend, also an imposter redhead, has suggested the really light blush shade for the gown. Light enough that you barely notice the pink. (I’ve noticed from google that “blush gowns” are really varied in shade! I’ve really fallen in love with the idea!

I have naturally red hair (which I love), and I’m planning on wearing an ivory gown. I bet you’d look great in blush!

I’m also a blonde who dyes her hair red. I’m very pale with blue eyes as well. I ended up getting an ivory dress. I tried on a stark white dress but the dress combined with my vivid red hair and blue shoes made me look like an American flag. While I’m patriotic it wasn’t exactly the look I was going for. I haven’t decided on makeup yet.

I’m a natural redhead and I chose an ivory gown but I’m sure blush would look great as well!

I’m a natural, and I went with a champagne gown. It was beautiful!!

Wow guys that was quick! Thanks for the replies! I totally know what you mean about patriotic! Haha. My casual style tends to include LOTS of striped, navy blue, white, and always red nails.
my friends always say something along the lines of, “wow. You look so…nautical..”
I’ll definitely check out Ivory. And, Sierra, you are BEAUTIFUL! That gown is gorgeous!
as far as paleness goes, I’m a pinky-pale. does that make a difference? I’ve noticed a lot of times in magazines, pale people kind of get lumped together as far as telling me what’s flattering.
Maybe i should know more of these things, but I’m a native nashvillian, and my boyfriend calls me “hillbilly chic”- I live in flannels and jeans. 🙂

Natural dark auburn here (but I get called a redhead, oh well, lol) And I’ve got a diamond white, that slightly aged look. I’m a fair ivory with minimal freckling, but I totally understood what skin colour you meant by “pinky-pale”! LOL

I’m a natural red-head. I’m pretty pale so I will be wearing an Ivory colored dress. 🙂

We must be twins! I have super pale skin, freckles, and blue eyes. I consider myself a natural ginger, I was born with blonde, it darkened to a mousey brown, and then I developed a fair amount of red. I liked the red so much that I matched the colour and dyed the entirety of my hair. I have like Amy Pond coloured hair. Haven’t decided what I’m doing with the dress… can’t do white or anything that looks white. My mum is heavily pushing cream, and I have to give her a fair say since she’s going to be the one making it, but I need to make sure I look good in a colour first. Whatever I end up with it going to be coloured though. As far as makeup, I have no idea. I hardly ever do makeup.

I’m not a natural redhead, (nearly black hair naturally) but I’ve been rocking it for a year and have gotten so many compliments. Lots of people think that its natural, which I think is hilarious! I have dark eyes, nearly olive skin, and whenever people tried to guess my nationality prior to the dye job, the order would usually go “Italian? Jewish? Greek? Hispanic?” So…I don’t get it. People just want to believe there are more natural redheads out there 😉
I haven’t decided 100% if I’ll keep it red for the wedding, but my gown is ivory.

I’m a natural redhead and I wore ivory – I did try blush and LOVED it! Really flattering on a redhead, if I may say. Kind of wish I did go with blush.
