My hair is naturally red/light auburn in most lights.  My dress was ivory lace with “gold” underneath. I did my own makeup and used a light pink, coral, and light green eyeshadow, with light pink lipstick.  This is the only close-up of my face – totally spaced asking my photag to get a good up-close of my makeup ๐Ÿ™

My hair is more of an auburn than a true red.  It can look anywhere from dark brown to bright red in pictures, depending on the light.

My skin is very fair.  I have a few freckles on my nose, and I usually burn then tan…faintly.  I also flush really red if I get hot.  I must an odd one, because while I thought I’d look better in ivory or champagne (hadn’t even thought of blush, but I love it!), I really looked better in white.  Ivory made me look yellowish.

Redhead here!  I have two dresses.  One is a creamy ivory and the other is a more traditional ivory.

The creamy one:

The other one:

That’s an Amsale.  Amsale makes a blush that I seriously considered.

I thought I’d want an ivory dress, because of my complexion and hair, but ended up going with a white one instead.  I was born with bright red hair…it has kind of mellowed out over the years.  ๐Ÿ™‚

im a natural brunette, but i always prefer my hair red (sometimes reddy purple), i’m very pale,  but i have very dark brown eyes, they look black sometimes, i always were a slightly darker shade of foundation anyway. my makeup will be a little heavier than my day to day makeup but nothing too over the top. i will be wearing ivory i think it is best with the paler skin tones.

i’m such a wannabee red head i loved my hair when it was long and curly almost waist length, and it was auburn, it now really short but i still love red hair,

@Jeannine @ Small Chic: I was in LOVE with Amsale while I was looking for a dress – I feel like their blush, ivory and the latte color are perfect for redheads. I was in love with this one in particular before I found THE ONE:

fit like a glove and the color was just gorgeous

I went with white.  I thought I wanted an ivory dress but the dress I picked did not look right in ivory.

I’m a fake redhead, and have been for more than half my life. I dye it more of a darker auburn now, but I’ve had it every shade of red under the sun. I wore an Ivory dress.

They say because of the natural warner tones of redheads, that ivory is more suitable. But I think it is all just dependent on your taste and style. After all, it’s your day. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m a natural redhead and my dress is ivory. I love how it looks with my skin- the white washed me out. Totally agree with one of the PPs, though. I loved how I looked in blush colored dresses.  : )

I am a natural red head and I have REALLY red hair.  I went with an off white gown, and my make up was very simple.  I had natural lips, and my eye makeup was champagnes and browns.
