Okay redheads, what do you do with your eyebrows? I used to leave them alone, until I realized how my blonde eyebros really washed out my face. So I’ve experiemented with a couple of different coloring techniques, and I haven’t really found anything that actually looks natural and nice without spending a lot of money.

I’m a blonde with thinish blonde eyebrows so I just fill them in with a pencil or brow powder. However, I have a close friend who is a redhead that has her’s professionally died by her stylist. I can’t remember how much she said it cost but I do remember her saying that it comes out to be less expensive than all the products and at home attempts she would be making.

I’d try using a really ashy light brown color to fill them in – it will give a hint of eyebrows but not look super obvious. There are lots of youtube tutorials on such things. However, many people rock the light or non-existant eyebrow look – The current Doctor, Matt Smith is a great example 🙂

I have blonde hair and very light blonde eyebrows and I need to figure out what the heck to do with them, but pencils and powders always look like crap. I’ve thought about having them dyed, but that kind of scares me :/

I just use an eyebrow pencil in a color meant for women with blonde hair. It makes my eyebrows more visible without having them look fake.

I’m a strawberry blonde with eyebrows so light they are almost non-existent.
I don’t do anything to them. I have done the powder and pencil thing a few times (myself and propfessionally done) but it always looks weird and fake. So I just stopped and leave them all pale 🙂

My eyesbrows used to be VERY pale. But I noticed from years of plucking, they’ve gotten pretty dark where I pluck heavily, I actually plucked them down to almost none and now they are ALOT darker! [It was funny, nobody even noticed I plucked them down like crazy because you could hardly see them anyway! The only person who noticed was my mom, but it was AFTER i mentioned it!].

mac came out with a really nice color eyebrow ‘gel cream’ called redhead, its a warm golden light brown color…they had them in my local store last week but I know they are limited edition and you would have to purchase asap. You apply it with an angled brush and it defines your eyebrows so nicely =)

@goldlt83087: OOOH! I think I’m going to try and track some down tomorrow! Thanks for the heads up!

I used to colour my hair red.. and I would put the same colour on my brows for 5 minutes!

I’m a natural redhead but its gotten kind of blah with age so I dye it. I use a color just slightly darker than my old natural color, and I use the same stuff on my brows, which are very light blond. It only lasts about 3 weeks though (not sure if it fades or grows out), so I use a pencil and brush-in-gel the other 3 weeks until it’s time to dye again.

I’m naturally blonde but colour my hair red and my eyebrows are really fair. I fill them in with an angled brush and a warm brown eyeshadow. I’ve been doing my brows this way everyday for years and it lasts all day!
