That’s tough. . . and something I don’t think you’ll be able to cover up with makeup since they’re not there all the time. My Fiance has very sensitive skin due to an allergy at a young age. Therefore, anytime he drinks, exerts energy, gets embarassed, even scratches himself, he turns BEAT RED. Maybe a little bit of alcohol will calm your nerves before you walk down the aisle? lol.

@katie1494:  GAH YES. Sometimes my hair hits my chest/neck, so I scratch that area (not hard, just a bit), and I get BRIGHT RED patches. Inevitably, one of the guys at work will ask what’s wrong with my neck. I HAD AN ITCH GAHHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

I know exactly what you mean!

I turn all red when I speak to a group of more than 2, when I have some red wine, when I get embarassed…..  I think it’s anxiety driven.

I have no clue how to stop it, except maybe having couple of shots of something, starring at your Fiance the whole time you are coming down the isle, Doing some meditation….

I found that the more tan i am the less noticable my redness is so I might just hit the tanning salon for a month prior to the wedding.

Can you use one of those sheer primers? Or tan before hand so it’s less noticeable?

I have terrible issues with redness in my face due a severe sunburn years ago. I use the Clinique Redness Solutions line and it’s AMAZING! The green tints in the makeup help reduce and lessen redness, and I find my skin looks so much more even. I’d suggest checking it out – Macy’s and similar stores have Clinique counters and you can go and discuss the line with them and maybe try the products out. Sephora used to carry the line but got rid of it recently b/c a new Clinique line came out and they only carry a certain amount in-store at a time (but you can buy it on their website).

I know, I was totally shocked when they told me but yeah I guess it does help b/c I’ve noticed a HUGE difference since I started wearing this makeup about a year ago. Hope it helps!

I have the same problem!  I use a green primer from Pure Minerals that I love.  Use it everyday in fact with mineral powder from the same line.

I’ve heard Vichy Dermablend is amazing for covering pretty much anything!
