juliaGG:  That is gorgeous! I love blush colors for wedding dresses. It’s different but still so romantic and beautiful. I’d say go for it!

juliaGG:  Such a beautiful dress! I don’t know if this helps your search but the dress you love was not a Reem Acra bridal gown. It is from the Reem Acra 2013 Resort Collection.

You are correct in that it has been discontinued. Here is the link to the official Reem Acra site: http://www.reemacra.com/Collections/readytowear/3c8a7d64-d1b6-448d-85cf-5ac5378c3210#13

I bought the sample of a Reem Acra gown as my dress, it was half off the original price (read: the only way I could afford it). I looked at the Reem website and called boutiques near-ish me. They were all helpful in finding my dress. I’m sure you have done a lot of work but I got way more information talking to a human than my google searches.

I chose a different style but there is a lot of intricate detailing on both gowns. If you are going the custom route, do it with someone you trust.

If you have time before your wedding, consider setting up alerts on pre-owned gown sites.

Best of luck!

juliaGG:  Try preownedweddingdresses.com — I purchased the veil to my dress there and women sell their wedding dresses, so it’s worth a look.  You can also go to oncewed.com.

juliaGG:  I LOVE the dress! Total bridal and ethereal!  If you love it and can’t stop thinking about it, that would be enough for me!

PS: my dress is blush too!

It will look lovely in blush pink! Is the seamstress local? Pink has so many variation, and I think it would be great if you can see the color in person before they work on the dress.

I think it’s absolutely lovely.  I like how the front has a little sexiness (cleavage) while the rest is covered up.  Be careful though, the girl in the photo is teeny — if it were me, I’d ask that the dress doesn’t pouf out too much at the hips and the flowers aren’t too prominent but more blended in.

If your’e confident in her work, then yeah go for it!!  The dress is both unique and beautiful.

Very beautiful! I am also wearing a Reem Acra from a few seasons back!
