I think it happens with most white stones.  It happens with my moissanite too.

@lizarragad:  I definitely notice it more with whiter diamonds…maybe because Ashas are supposed to be like D-colored that’s why you’re just now seeing it? Either way, I think it’s really pretty, I love when my e-ring reflects my shirt or the ceiling color!

These are kenny from PS’s 2.26ct Asscher (left), and 1.34ct H VS2 Octavia (right). Cannot remember the grading of the Asscher:

See all the colours?

This is how he took the picture (the camera is behind that hole):

Neat, eh?

So yes, diamonds do indeed reflect colours!

Here is another picture of kenny’s Octavia…which was the first one ever bought, actually, and I always think that is cool – to show how it reflects the colours of the flower it is sitting in!:

Like everyone said – it’s normal. ๐Ÿ™‚ My bathroom is yellow and I love it because it makes my stone look like the richest hunk of butter. Unfortunately I can’t stay in there all day staring at it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@lizarragad:   They are kenny’s, you can find him, and more pictures of his stones, on Price Scope. If you search for “octavia” you will find some more too.
