I’m very confuse regarding some arrangemnt of wedding food and drink? Which kind of Food and Drink should I serve for guests ? And I’m vegetarian, so shall I serve vegetarian or non-vegetarian food for guest? And most important part is what kind of drinks people do prefer in wedding ? Should I take one or two brands from every category? There is no one who can guide me. Please suggest something, any sugguestions will be appreciated.

I am not a vegetarian, but am having some veggie options- Maybe an appitizer or two with some meat options? Or perhaps a side dish that meat could if one choose have meat added? Baked Potato bar perhaps? Drink wise a red, a white, a beer, and one signature drink seems to be the way to go (and a champagne toast never hurts!)

@preeti22: What kind of reception are you having? If it’s buffet, you can serve both. If it’s sit down/plated meal, can you ask your guests to indicate their choice when they RSVP?
As for drink, I myself will serve 1 red wine, 1 white wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.

@preeti22: Since you are in Singapore I guess it would also come down to what religion you both are. Some Religions do not allow alcohol and some do not allow meat or certain kinds of meat.
Here are some wedding website specific to Singapore
They may not be i your budget but they could guide you with ideas for what is common in Singapore.
If you are getting married in another country then please state which country and what country the majority of your guests are from and then posters can guide you as to what might be appropriate.

I would think about your favorite foods, and what foods are important in your cultural background. Most weddings have a beef dish, a chicken dish, a fish dish, and a vegeterian dish and then some hot/cold vegetables, but everyone does it differently. Think about whether you want it buffet or plated. Contact some local caterers and talk with them about what you like and your budget and they’ll help you think of some options.
