@countrylove914:  whatever you want to upgrade. They usually give you a list of items they recommend take the list and see what stuff you’d want to upgrade.

@countrylove914:  whatever you want. I’m upgrading all of our stuff (hopefully) so that’s what I registered for since it’s all ages old

The way i decided was by going through basically everything on bedbathandbeyond.com and making a list of everything we saw and either wanted or needed. Then I registered for those things wherever I liked the designs best. 🙂

We registered for a lot of “upgrades” like nicer towels, sheets, knives, flatware and cookware, and then some things we didn’t have but wanted, like china and crystal. I also tried to find some things in lower price points that we would enjoy having, like a new teakettle, some cool picture frames, a picnic basket, French onion soup crocks and new baking dishes and supplies (like a cookie scoop, a silicone baking mat, a nicer rolling pin) and gadgets (a digital meat thermometer, an oil mister, a sturdy corkscrew) that I knew we would definitely use.

At first, I was like – we have everything we need, what will we register for? But once we got into Bed Bath & Beyond with a scanner, I realized how much there was to register for. We just got our flatware set as an early wedding gift, and it is so lovely to have matching spoons, forks and knives for the first time ever!
