We registered at BB&B, Macys and Crate and Barrel.  The Crate and Barrel gifts were my favorite and they had such wonderful customer service.  Easy returns too.  We went to one of their registering parties and got free food and drinks and all sorts of goodies.

Macys was my least favorite. The customer service is just terrrible.  God help you if you want to return something.

I originally registered at Macy’s because of the rewards programs, but they discontinue items fairly regularly, even when they aren’t discontinued by the manufacturers.  Someone also told me that they no longer sell silver by the place setting. If you register for sterling, someone has to buy the entire collection at once.

I moved over to BB&B.

I’ve found BBB and Crate & Barrel easiest to navigate as a wedding guest.  The Target, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma registries are annoying to navigate if you don’t have a staff member helping you.  Even then, the Target staff might not be able to help you locate things, even though aisle locations are written on the papers.
