I come once again to you for your advice! So we definately want to register at BBB (in place of Macy’s) for our towels, linens, etc, and were always planning on registering at Crate and Barrel with the option of adding Pottery Barn later on if needed. My question is this, aside from the cooking appliances you can get at Crate and Barrel, are PB and Crate and Barrel essentially the same store? I think Pottery Barn has a better return/refund policy which is why we are tempted to choose only them. Guests could get our applicance type things from BBB.
We need to know our stores by this week in order to put on the shower invitations being ordered and there is no way to get to PB and Crate and Barrel to compare them.
Any advice on the two?

Pottery Barn and Crate have different estethics. One is very clean/modern, the other more decorative. If you love both, perhaps think about where your guests live and if they are closer to a PB or a C&B.

C&B and Pottery Barn are completely different. C&B is more contemporary syle while PB is a little more rustic/french country. I say add them both if you love things from both stores. Personally, though i would only add stuff you LOVE! Because you might end up getting the items you like over the items you LOVE! Also put the store you wouldnt mind lots of gc from that you could use towards bigger ticketed items like furniture. I found with my shower (and wedding) i received lots of gc from the stores i registered at!
