Does anyone have a document or checklist that suggests what a couple should have/register for? Fiance and I are both in our 30s and living alone, and I’ve inherited a lot already (full set of china and silver).
People say to use it as a chance to “upgrade,” but for a lot of things, I already have what I’d wish for (revereware pots, kitchen aid mixer, vintage pyrex everyday dishes, cutco knives, etc.).
Any lists so I can more easily narrow down what I might actually be able to use?

Here’s an old post from the boards: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/the-ultimate-registry-list
You’ll find, too most magazines will have a list. Next time you’re in a Target, go to the returns/customer service counter and ask them for a Club Wedd packet – there’s a booklet in there, or at Bed Bath and Beyond to get you started.
Sometimes I just type in really common names into registries and scope them out 😉

I found the one at Amazon really helpful.
