So we have yet to do our registry. I don’t know why, we just haven’t lol. But tonight I’m going to start one or two. My mom said I should register at 2 places. I chose Target, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Now here’s the question. Is there a certain ‘registry ettiquette’?? When I’m adding things to the registry, do I have to be modest because of price, or should I put things that I really want on there? And exactly how big should this registry be?
Anyone have any advice or pointers? It would be greatly appreciated!

Bed Bath and Beyond will give you a check list (you can also get this online). You’re suppose to have 2 gifts per person invited (I think that’s the rule).
We did things all over the place price range. Only because, our friends are college aged, but our family will drop a pretty dollar.

@gogogiraffes: Lol okay. Thank you. I had no idea there was a gift rule so that helps.

We registered at Target too! The items we picked varied in price. That way, there is something for everyone. Registering is so fun! Good luck 🙂

But don’t take that “list” from Bed bath and beyond too seriously! Don’t register for things that you’ll never use… (for example, if everyone knows that you NEVER cook or bake, and you register for an elaborate kitchen aid mixer, then everyone will be like, “really?!”)

Try to include gifts in various price ranges (under $50, $50-$150, over $200) so everyone can get you something in their price range

Thanks so much everyone!!! I can’t wait to get started

Yes, please don’t take that list seriously.
We registered for 2 towels each. Because we stay on top of our laundry. 1 set of bed sheets (because we have the same set).
And then only registered for 2 place settings. Because we don’t have people come over to eat with us. Our place is small. And we’re locked in here for a few more years.
