We are registering at Crate & Barrel, Macy’s and Target. Crate & Barrel will be our plates, glasses, etc., Macy’s will be more bedding, towels, etc., and Target for basics and nontraditional extras.

We did Macy’s and Crate and Barrel. We don’t have a house yet and are looking into getting an apartment together. We pretty much registered for only kitchen stuff, because we don’t know yet what size bed will be our permanent bed, and what type of decoration/furniture we will have to decorate with. But we did also register for bathroom things like towels.

I think Macys is a good bet for you. I am so happy with what I got from there. I got Vera Wang china from Wedgewood. I also registered for their every day dishes that were the Cellar brand and they are great! They have a range of price points. It’s convenient for east coasters.

They also have sales. And, I got registry rewards. After everyone purchased gifts, I got a gift certificate for almost $200! The service has been great.

But I love to cook, so Williams-Sonoma was good. It was located close to some of my guests when Macys wasn’t convenient.

You really can’t go wrong. This process is so fun. My husband sometimes teases me and says that I love “my pots” more than him. Sometimes…just kidding. My pots allow me to express my love through my cooking. Heheh.
