I did while we were engaged. I checked it at least once a day. It got to where my then Fiance would ask if anything had been bought today. I felt slightly guilty doing it, but I couldn’t help myself.

I do that 🙂 We weren’t even going to have a registry to start with, but Future Mother-In-Law insisted on it.

I think it’s called registry stalking.

It’s funny when someone buys something off the registry for you, along with something for themselves, and the whole purchase shows up as bought, on your registry.  I didn’t know Bed, Bath and Beyond sold tissues and tampax anyway?

Miss Coral:  I LOVE checking on our registry. I always feel like I have something missing so I troll for other things. We used Myregistry so it makes it easy to add things if you’re just browsing the web 🙂

Miss Coral:  I’m kind of glad it wasn’t a store like Target. Who knows what they could have bought, from the pharmacy department?

Miss Coral:  I did when we were engaged. And I was pissed when I forgot to take the damn cake stand off the registry… my DH thought it was hilarious to scan all sorts of stuff that we didnt really need. A cake stand! Seriously! LOL. We ended up returning it.

2XMOB:  Where can you see this? Can you see who bought you somehting on BBB? :O Someone bought something off my registry but didn’t mention it to me, so I don’t know who it is. I would like to get a head start on the thank you note, since I’m not busy this week but I will be back at work next week! *lol*

jellybellie:  You can choose to sort the BBB registry list by “all,” “purchased,” and “remaining.” You can’t tell who bought it for you, but if it’s sent to your house, there should be a gift card.

I am looking a ton, and I have a shower this weekend. The Macy’s registry is really bad for ruining the surprise, because the thank you manager tells who bought everything I am so bad!

Miss Coral:  What registry are you using? I will totally be stalking mine once it’s set up.

totally did that.  I got notifications sometimes but not always (depended on how the gift was being sent).

I got so excited when the first 2 items were bought – I didn’t have a shower so it was about a month before the wedding before anyone bought anything.
