We didn’t get married at the registry office, so much as got our certificate (which I guess is really getting married, only there was no ceremony for us!), but looking around, people wore anything and everything–and there were definitely people in jeans and there were definitely some brides fully dressed up in their wedding finery.

And I gotta say, I really LOVED seeing the brides in their big ball gowns–like any bride, they were so excited and so happy. They were just a ray of sunshine in that bureaucratic government building. Totally made me smile.

So, I wouldn’t worry about it–wear what YOU want to wear.

I think that dress is perfect for the boho/romantic you are going for! And it’s your wedding day, so you should wear whatever you as the bride want to wear.

whytneynicole:  There is no such thing as a bride who is too dressed up- No matter where the wedding occurs.

At a registry wedding, you will see everything from jeans to a ballgown. Wear what you want.
