I don’t know that you can, honestly. Some weird site that I never used has my Macy’s registry listed. Talk about creepy.

I know when I registered with Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I had the option to opt out of having my registry published in certain registry search engines. It doesn’t show up on weddingchannel or theknot or places like that when you search my name.

I literally googled my name and the date and my and FI’s names to find all the sites that had our stuff up. Then I had to go through each one’s “unsubscribe” process to get them to stop publishing our info. Really the only way to “leave no trace” is to use small local stores that keep the info in-house and don’t publish it.
