So my wedding isn’t until the end of September and I was updating our registry last night and noticed a few things were already bought off our registry! I got really excited and clicked on our registry manager and found out one of my friend bought all of the purchased items!!! So sweet of her.
Now I just have to use all my self controll from now until the wedding not to look at the registry manager.
Anyone else having a really hard time with that?

Haha I feel like it’s really hard not to, and truthfully there is a point to doing it occasionally to ensure that you have enough items in several different price ranges, but maybe try to keep it to once a month?

@kate02121: I know I have to get on our registry sometimes, but its the registry manager that tell me who bought all the gifts I’m trying to stay off of. LOL

I hadn’t even completed mine yet and was adding some things yesterday (my aunt has been working on shower invites, so I was going to get my but in gear and finish it!) I noticed the dish set we put on has been bought! (I’m pretty sure by my aunt, as I told her about it last week for the invites!) Kind of exciting, but I really need to finish up my registry so I wouldn’t be tempted to take a peek!

I stalk my registries every day and get SO excited when I see the little “fulfilled” sign next to the items! My bridal shower is in 2 weeks so I’ll probably be logging in and checking even more now haha

What?! There’s a Registry Manager? I had no idea! Is this for all registries? I’m registered at Macys & Bed Bath & Beyond and never even paid attention – now I’ll have to take a look!

@OliveT: There’s one for Macy’s, but I couldn’t figure out if there was one for Bed Bath and Beyond.

What is a registry manager? Does this mean you can tell WHO purchases specific items? I can see what items have been purchased but didn’t know you could find out who bought them….

@AshleyR83: Exactly. Log into your macy’s registry and click on “registry manager” on the top.

@coffeegal85: Yup! I found the one for Macy’s – and I have to say, I am really shocked that one particular person bought us as much as they did. I feel bad for having peeked, but OH WELL – the wedding is in 11 days so I don’t think it matters at this point!

I stalk. It makes sense to check at C&B, so I can update the most loved, and for all of them- to see if someone’s discontinued- or, in the case of Macy’s, on sale- Mom was able to get all of my flatware for half price. Also-my shower’s in two weeks, so I want to make sure I have enough items in that $20-25 range.
The manager can also help with thank yous- why not get a head start?

I have a serious problem with this and stalk at least once a day. My shower is this Sunday so Im getting curious. Yesterday the ceramic teapot set disappeared off the pottery barn registry!
