Can you use the Sur la Table gift cards for their cooking classes? Their cooking classes rock. It could be a fun date activity for you and your husband.

1st world problems, indeed.  🙂

I always find some kitchen gadget to covet, I’m sure you’ll find something you just have.to.have.  I can see the value in being able to spend it on a shower curtain, though.  We only registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond for that reason.  We didn’t get much in gift cards and used it on stuff that we had reigstered for, but I could spend thousands there – it’s the first place we got for…. anything.

Good tips! Have you thought about selling your extra Sur La Table gift cards? Some friends of ours ran into this problem – they registered at Williams Sonoma and got over 1k in gift cards, plus almost everything they registered for (lucky ducks). They put some of the gift cards of ebay and got almost face value (I think they said for the average $100 GC, they’d get around $90).
