Hah well, I sure hope so, as I did the same thing.  I just put the website on the back of the card I used in the front of the enclosure to post the website.  Either way, you could also tell family members to spread where you’re registered, or people might just ask you.  I’ve asked many friends where they’re registered so I know where to get their info.

that should be fine from what i’m told, we’re actually planning on doing the same thing. per my fmil’s request, we’re also making little cards for her and other family members and friends to pass along.

@cyndistar3: Hey I feel you.  Believe me, whole punching and tying ribbon through those cards I made to tie everything together took me ages, not to mention the time that went into the website.  But eh, shit happens.

thats exactly what I did.  My website has a visit counter, and I noticed a ton of people visited after the invites out.  Plus, I keep getting gift from my registry thats on there, so it must be working! It’ll be fine!

I was surprised by the number of people who obviously didn’t look at the website, but I know it was helpful for some so it was worthwhile.  Most people will ask someone where you are registered if they don’t look at the website.

One tip I can give (which I thought of way too late!) is to include your website in your signature if you’re using email for RSVPs.  I think people are too lazy to type in a website if it isn’t simple but if they just need to click on a link they will take a look at it.
