Most people I’ve talked to or known have had two or three! We have two 🙂

We have 1 but that is mainly because we don’t need all that much stuff.  We’ve lived together for 2 years now.  We wanted to make is super easy for everyone so we only registered at Target.

We have three, one at Pfaltzgraff for our everyday dishes, one at JCPenney for home stuff, and one at Wal-Mart because his family won’t shop anywhere else.  /sigh

We had four but in my case most people only bought from one. We did Macy’s, Crate and Barrel, Target, and Home Depot and everyone bought from Macy’s and then gave us cash. A lot of people buy where it is convenient for them  (Macy’s is in every mall around here and they wrap the gifts) and the older crowd does not like to buy online.

Two or three is pretty standard. Beyond that, your guests might not know where to start!

We did two.  I probably wouldn’t do more than 3 personally.

Two- Target and Crate and Barrel. Most of the list is at Target- there isn’t a Crate and Barrel near where I live, but I like their stuff so I registered for a few things there anyway. I can always buy them for myself at discount after the wedding.

Two is the norm among my family and friends.  One at a large department store Macy’s, Bloomingdales, etc and then one at a more speciality store like C&B or Williams Sonoma.  I think three is fine if there are things you really want from different places, but I would say anything more than 3 is overkill and would seem greedy to me.

I’ve only heard of there being between 1 and 3.  We have 2, that’s pretty common.  One is for Target, for the basics.  The other is at Crate & Barrel, for some more fun, hostess-y stuff.  I think you might want to scale it down a lil bit.  Just to make it easier for your guests to choose from.  Too many choices can be overwhelming!

We have 3, and one of those is fairly small (on amazon.com – kind of intended for our younger, more internet savvy friends.)

We only had one registry.  We didn’t need a lot of stuff since we were already living together.

We just have one, BB & B. We’re having a smallw edding, so I thought it would be overkill to register at more than one place.
