Wow! I just watched the videos and both rings are insanely beautiful! I’d just switch the rings around. Wear your upgraded original on your left and keep the new one as a stunning RHR! Or take it day by day depending on your mood. What’s done is done and now you have two beautiful rings. Rock them!

So, I did a thing. I traded my pear in. 😜 My jeweler had their annual trade-in event and they offered me close to what I paid for it. I know, I am crazy!!!!! My husband was fully supportive.

Woohoo!! Congratulations on being able to trade it back in for a comparable price. And you still got to have fun rocking a pear for a while so at least now you know how it feels haha.

Congratulations on doing what was right for you! It’s great to have such a supportive spouse. I honestly think you loving the reset diamond has just as much to do with the sentimental value and the connection you feel for your stone as it does with the new setting being Gorgeous! I loved both rings but it’s great that you have a new found appreciation for your original stone by remounting it. Have you selected a band to go with it yet or will you be wearing it solo? Please post more pics of your beauty!

I wear the reset alone, although the thin band that fit with my pear set actually looks nice with it!
Thing is, it was a trade in event. So in order to get top dollar for my pear, I had to buy something. And that something is so much more comfortable and “me” than my pear set was. Much more classic and clean.
Lesson learned. BIG lesson learned!!!!!

Oh my! That is gorgeous! It looks great alone! Its substantial enough to wear without a band. I love it ! I’m at the point now I’m considering a 3 stone because I want something that is a standalone piece and I’m tiring of the pace and all the cleaning and my halo is starting to loose a little charm to me. I love the simplicity and finger coverage! I definitely think you made the right choice!
