This is my first post on WeddingBee. My wedding is in 9 months and in Egypt where I live. I went all the way to the states for Christmas and bought this dress off the rack and the veil. I was in such a rush to buy before i came back here and also wanted ot buy one while my mom was with me since she lives in the states. I am now having major regrets about the dress.
The color is way more off white than it looked in the store. Almost a champagne.
The bottom of the dress falls funny to me.
Also, I feel like it does not flatter my middle area. Maybe I can put some boning or something in. I really dont know. 🙁
I am just unhappy with how it looks. Buying a new dressisnt an option, but im wondering what else i could do? Could i dye it whiter? What about adding a tulle skirt on top for the ceremony? Or putting a hoop in the bottom? I am so lost on what to do to improve the look of this dress! Help me pleaseeeee!

I personally don’t think you should do anything, as I think the dress, and you in that dress are gorgeous. Sorry you aren’t happy with it, but hopefully you grow to love it.

I think the champagne undertones actually look really nice on you. And the dress is gorgeous! I wouldn’t really add anything to it. Maybe a simple sash if anything

I really like your dress. Dress regret is super common. Just take some time, and don’t look at any more pictures of other wedding dresses.

Spanx! And have you thought of wearing something underneath to make the bottom pouf more? It’s beautiful! I like the colour.

I think that dress is stunning. I love the colour and I think it looks beautiful on you.

That dress is stunning! Leave it be, im sure once you put it on again you will fall in love with it again.

Add a small crinoline/petticoat under the dress. That will help create a bit more flare in the skirt, and also make it easier to walk in.
And if you’re unsure of the midsection (although you look great!) try a pair of Spanx.
I think it (you!) looks lovely! 🙂

not sure what you are regretting, I think you look beautiful 🙂

Not everyone can pull off champagne tones (me included!) and you look STUNNING in it! Dress regret is so common – I was there. The right support garments and a small crinoline will do wonders, as will having it altered. I think you made a beautiful choice.

You look absolutely breathtaking in your dress – I don’t think you need to change a thing! The color is perfect too!

I think it’s stunning! Agree with a PP. Stop looking at other dresses lol. I had momentary dress regret (even though my dress was 100% custom made to be what I wanted), and as soon as I felt that, I deleted EVERY dress off my pinterest, and banned myself from looking at any others. I DID love my dress.
I think in time you’ll love it. And if a new one isn’t an option, then you’ll have to. I wouldn’t go about trying to dye it or anything…it’ll cost you more $ and may not even turn out.

It’s a beautiful dress and looks great on you. To fix the issues you seem to be having with the dress I suggest getting good undergarments. Get a good pair of spanx and a crinoline slip, it’ll make the bottom more dramatic 🙂
