I defintely don’t think the lollipops are weird, but eally, nobody notices favours that much, so unless it’s something you’re doing for yourself happy I’d just leave them.

They look really cute, but honestly I’m not sure I’d still eat it.  I can’t remember the last time I ate a lollipop… I’m a chocolate girl!  lol

If you’re having kids at the wedding, though, they’ll eat them up!

I personally would not spend any extra time on favors besides your favor looks good and goes with your theme.

I was once a freak about favors to then decided I could use the extra money toward bigger items that will be noticed.

I think ANY favour you do, someone won’t like them. My godsister did wine, but neither Fiance nor I drank wine at the time. A friend of ours did chocolates but a mutual friend is lactose-intolerant and couldn’t eat them. Someone I know did shot glasses, but my parents had no reason to take it home. Heck, some people on here say they wouldn’t want a charitable dontation in leiu of a favour!

If YOU like it and it fits YOUR theme, go for it! Would I eat the candy, maybe– maybe not, but it’s a cool idea and I’l likely remember it ๐Ÿ™‚

To me, the favor is really just a little something to decorate each place setting, and these fit the bill perfectly! I don’t know how many people will actually eat them, but they are cute and I wouldn’t worry about finding something else.

I’ve been to a wedding that suckers as favors, and it was lovely. Even those of us who didn’t eat ours took them home. (I gave mine to my best friend’s kid). I think the fact that you made them yourself will make them a hit with your guests.

It looks really nicely done, but I’m not sure how a lollipop fits into an old Hollywood theme. If you were doing a more whimsical theme I could seem the connection more easily because I associate them with children. Unless lollipops are something that you’re known for.

I like them and they’ll bring some color to your tables. I’d use them (and I’d take/eat them too).

I think they’re adorable!  Anything edible is good.  If it was something weird that you couldn’t eat, people would just throw it out.  These look good and probably taste good too!
