Thank you SO much ladies! You have all been so sweet and have REALLY lifted my spirits!!!
I’m not gonna lie, there’s still something missing for me, but at least now I have a good idea for how to make the dress “more me!”
I’ll keep you ladies posted…. and post another thread once I have the final result! THANKSSSS!!!! Lots of love from this Bee <3

The dress you bought is gorgeous and looks very very expensive and great quality! It looks a drop tight though or a little small? Make sure a seamstress takes a look at it but you did great with that dress! I think when it fits you better you’ll love it.

missnovia: I agree with the others that dress does look beautiful on you. I would actually add a petticoat myself to give it more fullness and drama at the bottom. Pair that with a veil, and you’ll be a vision! I’m sorry you feel that you settled, but I think the dress is beautiful, and you shouldn’t feel bad about it at all. Good vibes!

palebluepetals: Yes! it it’s a bit tight… I bought it off the rack and I’m having it let out a bit (plus I’m a strict diet!)
monaleo: Thanks! I agree! I purchased a petticoat online and I;m waiting for it to arrive… hopefully looks good <3

I must say that the actual dress you purchased looks amazing on you. I love the romantic lace and the hint of sparkle your dress has which the Vicenta does NOT have. Can’t wait to see your whole look with the accessories. ๐

missnovia : So I totally get the feeling of what you dreamed versus what you purchased. My budget was $2000 also. I dreamed of a long slim gown or a ballgown. I got neither! Neither looked good on me and I have no clue what the style is called that I ended up buying but I call mine bridal chic. LOL.
The gown you purchased is gorgeous!! i actually really like it much better than the one you fell in love with. I fell in love with a mermaid gown that was all gold but I went with my bridal chic.
That said if you absolutely hate it, you can always go back to the shop and try on a few more. HUGS.

OMG your first gown is GORGEOUS honey! Don’t doubt your choice for a moment, esp you got a bargain!!!! You should totally be happy you got such a gorgeous gown at a discount ๐
You can always add unique flair with hairstyles, flowers, accessories, veil options, and shoes!!!!
I had my doubts about my dress too – my mom actually chose it for me, I wasn’t really sold on it. How weird is that? Then once it was altered to fit me just right (I found an awesome place that specialized in wedding gowns), and really saw myself, I knew it was perfect ๐
Get it altered, you will love yourself in it!!!! It’s beautiful, and you will look beautiful in it ๐
