I’d say have the rehearsal thursday and have the dinner friday.  Not everyone needs to be at the walk through but most people involved in the wedding would probably be in town by thursday.

If you go with thursday for everything I went to one party where they had family dinners one night.  So the grooms side of the family got together for dinner and the brides side got together in another location.  Mini family reunions.

I’m in the same boat as you. We are having a Saturday wedding and having our rehearsal on Thursday because our venue is super busy Friday nights with happy hour (theres a nightclub downstairs and patio bar where the rehearsal is). I only have one Bridesmaid or Best Man coming from out of town though. My aunt advised me to go for Thursday because it leaves Friday for me to tie up loose ends, get my nails done, and try to relax a little. I’d talk it over and see it if would be a big buren for them to come Thursday. They may not mind at all and make a weekend out of it. Just remember, you can’t please everyone- it’s impossible!
