My vote is for Z’Tejas.  They have a great party space and ymmy food.

gosh, i called z tejas the other day and they quoted me $4000 for a Rehearsal Dinner for 20!  i reccommend not mentioning right away that is a Rehearsal Dinner.  maybe they will quote something a little lower.  (this was the arboretum location though)

We just had our rehearsal dinner at Corazon at Castle Hill and it was fabulous! The staff were old-hands at these events and did everything for us – all we did was set the menu. After all the wedding stuff, i was glad not to have to worry about decorations, timing, wine tastings, etc. I’m going to post a more thorough review of them when I do all my vendor reviews, but I can’t recommend them enough. The food is interior Mexican, which is completely different from our usual Tex-Mex.

Afterward, we had a big gathering at Sholz Garten for all of our out-of-town guests. We booked their downstairs room, which was a perfect size. We had to pay a room rental, then we bought pitchers of beer for everyone and after that our guests could buy their own drinks.

Both Corazon and Scholz were easy to work with, which i greatly appreciated.
