WE’re having our rehearsal dinner at the same venue as our ceremony and reception.  They have a restaurant there.  Not sure if that would be an option for you, they’ll usually give a nice discount.

I am in your exact same boat. LOL. And we are only like 12 days away. I keep going back and forth on so many ideas. I feel like I am being cheap, but we seriously might just order pizza or do catered sandwhiches or something while we decorate the venue the night before. I am interested to see what other ideas people have! Good luck to you!

We’re having ours at a restaurant, we briefly considered rehearsal lunch instead of dinner but dinner actually turned out to be cheaper due to happy hour. We also saved money by cutting down the guest list as much as possible and doing drink tickets instead of an open bar.

I’ve been to quiet a few of rehearsal dinners at pizza joints and they’ve been great! It’s fun, laid back and you can’t go wrong with pizza. 🙂

We’re going for a really casual rehearsal dinner so we’re having it out of FI’s best man’s (his older brother’s) garage – which is basically a big open building w/ a bathroom, fridge, kitchenet, etc in it.  We’re hiring a local mexican restaurant to bring their taco stand out and grill up pork/steak tacos for everyone. (Our fav!)  We have 60 people and are expecting it to be around $600 total.
