What do you think about this dress for my rehearsal and dinner? I absolutely love it, but it looks a little on the short side. I am only 4 foot 11 so I think it wouldn’t be nearly as short as it looks on the tall models, but I’m still a little worried that maybe it could be inappropriate?
Here’s a farther back picture (I’ll be getting it in white though) to show you how short it looks:
And here’s the shoes I would be wearing with it:

I freakin love it.. it’s sexy, yet has the sleeves & isn’t low cut.. it’s perfect! I’m jealous. Where is it from??

Gorgeous dress, but yikes! it does look REALLY short. Try it on though, and see if it’s longer on you. LOVE the shoes!

@X0JLYNN03: The dress is from ASOS.com so I have no way of trying it on first 🙁 The shoes are from Windsor.
@Shosha1: That’s what I said! There is no way her butt is not hanging out! But the description says she is 5’10 and wears a size 4. I’m 4’11 and about the same size, so maybe it would hang down a lot lower?
I just want to say forget it, it’ll be too short but I can’t find any others that I like as much as this one!

I think it’s too sexy for the occasion. Save it for a night out on the town!

I love it, but I think it’s more appropriate for your bachelorette rather than the rehearsal. Maybe you could switch those dresses?

I’m actually getting this dress too. I don’t think it’ll be too short given your height.

It wont be that short on you. They put those dresses on models with legs that are 5 feet long, so they look super sexy. It will probably hit you mid thigh – not just below your butt 😉

I think it will look great

I think it will be fine . The model is a full foot taller than you- most of that height in her legs.
ASOS are good at answering questions . Email them and ask for the measurement from shoulder to hem so you will know for sure how long it is on you.

@bdockery: That dress is great! I don’t think it will be short on you. And the shoes?…super cute! If you feel uncomfortable with it, maybe you could save it for the bachelorette party?

I’ve read reviews that they run short, so I have a feeling it would be a bit inappropriate.

I’m short too – and everything is always longer on me! If the store has a good return policy, buy it, try it on and then decide!
I think its a cute dress – do it!

@julies1949: agreed- find out the measurements- they should also be able to tell you waist to hem length

I think the style of that dress is very beautiful. However, to be honest, I personally am not a fan of dresses that short. I personally prefer short dresses to land no more than two inches above the knee.
