We are having our rehearsal then supper at my in laws house. More like a casual bbq. Do we HAVE to wear white? Let me see your dresses!! Have thought about a blush dress but haven’t gone to even look at those dresses but want to find something that i could rewear some place.

Not at all. Wear what makes you feel fabulous. You aren’t required to wear any color that you don’t want to!
I think most brides wear white during many of the wedding-related parties because not many people wear so much white on a normal basis (and weddings gives us a chance to do so). So, if you don’t want to wear white to your Rehearsal Dinner, no one will bat an eyelash!

Definitely not. I’ve been in eight weddings, including my own, and I didn’t wear white to my rehearsal dinner, and I cannot remember any of the other brides wearing white to theirs.

I’m planning on wearing a traditional Chinese/Taiwanese qipao (which my mother will make for me); we plan to have a tea ceremony at the rehearsal dinner.

I am wearing a navy JCrew dress. I’m doing a day of activites with people before the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, so I just found something that would be comfortable all day.

I’m wearing an off white dress with a deep brown floral pattern on it, it is fitted through the bodice, hs a tiny tulle layer that sticks out the bottom and spaghetti straps.
I didn’t choose it because it was white however, I choose it because it looked really good on me and I got it for next to nothing 😉
The original dress I had picked was green and it looked like a maternity dress so yeah that went back to the store lol

Of course not!!! I figured most people wore a little sundress of some sort, I hadn’t even considered wearing white.

I just bought my rehearsal dinner dress – it was on sale at Old Navy this weekend. It is a white eyelet sundress with a full skirt…it is sweet. I am going to add a glittery belt.
I have always wanted a white summer dress, so I figured that this was my chance to get one!
ETA: No, you don’t have to wear white. You should wear whatever you feel cute in!
