My Fiance and I are plannign to have finger food rehearsal dinner. Our rehearsal dinner is at the hall where we are having both the ceremony and reception. OUr family are keen on finger food meals 🙂 So that is why we know we can get away with it.
We were thinking:
Meat and cheese tray
I feel like I am missing something? Any suggestions of what else we should have?
We will of course have wine, beer and some spirits.

I like a variety, regardless of what people serve. As long as you have seating for everyone – rather than just stand around and pick at it, it should work. I don’t eat meat though, or sweets, so I would probably bring along some fresh fruit and a yogurt, just in case. And I’m assuming you are having non-alcoholic beverages?
P.S. I’d add a fruit tray, to go with the veggie tray. If you have a meat and cheese tray, I assume with rolls, do you need sandwiches, too?

I’d add some sides. Could be anything – potato saladdeviled eggs, min egg rolls, something.
ETA: more options: swedish meatballs on a toothpick, stuffed mushrooms etc.
Yeah, you might have people using a fork, but it would still be casual.

Hmm we can probably skip out on the meat and cheese tray since we are doing a variety of sandwhiches.
